Sweetie, sweetheart, honey, honeybunch, muffin...why do we use these terms when we speak to our loved ones? Why can't I say "By salty" or "Have a nice day cheeto" to Kate or Dash when they walk out the door for school? It sure makes me hungry (and hard to stick to my diet!) when it's all sweetness all the time. Maybe there's a sugar substitute. I could say something like "Bye, Sweet n'Low" or "Good luck on that test today, Equal."
What do you think?
